I am an Associate Professor of Finance at VU University Amsterdam and a Candidate Fellow at the Tinbergen Institute. My research focuses on the area of empirical corporate and pension finance. In particular, I am interested in questions on the relationship and potential conflicts of interest between top management, the board of directors, shareholders, and other stakeholders.
